G.T. Hotel Jaro

Our stay was very disappointing. For a hotel with 4 floors, it was surprising that there was no elevator, which made access very inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. Musky smell, room was dirty, roaches. Place is not what I was expecting when I saw a total google reviews of 4.2 stars, I should had read the comments that everyone praises it because it’s cheap and are willing to forgo a clean hotel.

It's not a nice feeling killing these cockroaches, but it is a must coz they like going inside your ears. Very dusty walls, aircon, curtain,and bed headboard. My neighbor complains about insects in the room & clogged sink and shower, no action is taken. Staff needs more training, and perhaps a salary raise, so they'll be happier, more welcoming, and put to heart what they do.

We got the room for our guest and we were surprised how good the room was. The price of the room was great too. Location, it’s bit out of the way from the main tourist locations. No elevator, so I could imagine if anyone with a lot of baggage or someone with disability will have a hard time going up and down. For me the important thing is the service and they are very accommodating and it was great.

No elevator and no window in the room. As seen in other photos, there are rooms with windows, but the reception didn’t even inform me about this. There’s also no restaurant or canteen available.
