This was a very mixed bag of a stay. The first room we had smelled awful - like strong mould and sewerage. There was mould residue and rusted hardware across the bathroom. We also saw white ant frass and dead white ants on the floor. This place has a lot of potential to be a fantastic hotel, it’s a beautifully designed space, but unfortunately it falls very short in most areas. The pool was pretty, but it was dirty, and cold. However, the rooms are quite old and have a noticeable smell, possibly coming from the aging carpet, which unfortunately triggered my allergies. Had a terrific two night stay there. Amazing views of the city and Mayon Volcano. The evening buffet was delicious with lots of choice in dishes. Great coffee in the cafe. All staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
