Spectroom Hotel Suites

We booked this hotel for 2 nights but left immediately and did not stay. The room was completely different from what was advertised. Instead of 2 bunk beds and 2 twin beds, we got 2 bunk beds with a dirty pull-out bed. The hallway was very dark, and there was even a rat that crawled over my friend’s leg. The hotel is located across San Juan Surf Resort, so it is easy to find. However, that is where the positives mostly end. It is on the third floor, with a bar on the second floor, so it gets very noisy at night and makes it hard to rest. Location-wise, Spectroom Hotel is quite accessible, it’s near everything you might need. However, it’s located on the 3rd floor, and the floor below is a bar, so at night you can clearly hear the bass and even feel the vibrations from the music. The room was okay. At first, we thought we were lost because the entrance looked like a closed bar, which was a bit scary and gave off a haunted vibe. But once we got inside, the stay was actually comfortable. The room was clean, fragrant, and we were able to rest well. Plus, it’s just walking distance to Urbiztondo Beach, which made the location really convenient.

This place will cancel your reservation less than 30 minutes before check-in. The coordination with Agoda is very disorganized. I wouldn’t recommend it. Save your time and look elsewhere.
