Pitty I did not read my review from last year. The place has even gone backwards if that is possible. Rate advertised vs rate paid is also off by 400pesos. 1700 for no sleep and dirt all over is not a way to start ant trip. Absolutely shocking.
South Prine Residences & Inn Davao City offers modern rooms with good amenities. The staff are helpful, and the place is clean. A very convenient option for a short stay.
They gave a duplicate key to a stranger to access my room. No refund but my valuables are gone. Don't go here
If it was not an emergency I would avoid this place at all cost. While rooms are dated, there is a vast difference in being old and being clean. Hair in the bed. Mattress has stains that are old and crusty. Linen has holes all over them. Bathroom is not up to scratch and stains/dirt everywhere. Everything is either broken or past it’s usability stage. All in all, not a place I would recommend at all.
My overall experience is subpar. Granted that I went to this place at 3AM as a last resort place to rest for the night, but this is not it. The room is 2/5. It is super dim even if I turned everything on, the painting and atmosphere feels old, and the layout is not that good. Nice, neat, clean rooms, with furnishings and beddings of a quality comparable to some higher end places I've stayed in costing 2 to 3 times as much. The room rate is like most motels, but with none of the depressing construction values (e.g., cheap paint on uneven concrete). Cheap, affordable but also compensate to the ammenities. Our room have so many bugs and mosquitoes, And there a residential area beside the room, the smell of cigarettes smoke in it goes to our room. Its smelly
