I recently stayed at Sampaloc Inn, and while the staff was accommodating, I found the rooms in need of significant improvement. Good for just staying for a rest from trip. They don't have TV. They should offer slippers, and suggest put doormats or rags. Placement of toilet bowl not good, your face almost on the wall. We just stayed due to bad weather. Motorcycle parking not safe. Guest don't have key for room availed. Water supply not 24/7.
Room was actually okay upon entering, though it's not really that good price for the deluxe room for one night. What surprised us is the bathroom and toilet, which is actually the reason why we really wanted to book a hotel so we can have a comfortable bath.
