Billed as the nicest hotel currently open in Ozamiz, the Royal Garden is a decent enough stay but firmly a three-star property. Manage your expectations accordingly and you will be fine. The suite I stayed in had a window king bed, which was a nice touch, but the room itself is very dated. Cons: Stayed 2nights. very outdated rooms.I got bedbug bites everymorning(most likely from their bed),since I haven’t gotten bedbug bites from other places I stayed at. Tried reaching out, customer service number but cannot be reached and they don’t even bother to reply my email. Pros: easy access to get to places, breakfast service was good, room service massage was good

Also the room has no fridge and they charge additional 350 pesos a day for a dirty fridge which at this pri…

When we returned to the hotel, my sister and I got surprised because our room was clean, w…

Rooms are clean but very basic; neighborhood is sketchy and mostly old run down buildings; few good restaurants nearby; staff need better training and some were surly
