Prince John Resort

This was like a little paradise for Christmas - John made it extra special with a Christmas Eve party - lots of fun! Our accommodation was like a treehouse with a hammock and sea view amongst gardens and palm trees... simple, rustic and utterly perfect. So much space to relax in loungers, swings, hammocks under coconut trees and on the beach. We enjoyed the peaceful vibe, exactly the low-key we needed to disconnect…

We were a group of nine traveling on motorcycles, and even the access to the resort was more of an adventure challenge than a normal hotel road. However, the biggest disappointment was the bill for consumption and services. A bottle of gin that costs around 195 pesos was charged to us for more than €30. John's place deserves 5 stars for everything. It's amazing what he has built here. It's remote yet connected to the internet via Starlink, has everything one possible would need, staff is friendly, food is great - all in all a must if you want to be a bit more off grid and relax in paradise. The negative comments from other ratings are simply people cherry picking. Thx a bunch for our amazing stay here John!

Positive: - very natural, many plants, everything’s green, very simple but clean bungalows (small but OK) Negative: - owner (only revenue-oriented) -de-motivated personnel - location requires to use his transportation offers (too expensive) - waiting times for food (OK, but too expensive, +20% charge on every item in menu) always up to 1hr, no matter if restaurant is full or empty - toilets not clean - overall price…

John is the nicest host you can ask for. We reached the Resort with a rented Scooter with no problem. The road here is close to be finished. We got a free welcome drink and the Huts are simple but very beautiful. The place is tidy and well taken care of. The place is solar powered and has everything one can need. Kayak rental, a Restaurant and super helpful staff.

Best location if you want to just relax and spend the day woth nature. The service was the best, John (the Owner) is hands on and wont leave you hanging. Food is also superb! The room is cozy. The shower area is a classic! It’s spacious and OPEN AIR with no roof so its like showering under the stars, but dont worry coz it still is giving you the privacy you need.

An idyllic spot with a laid-back beach vibe, set right in the middle of nature. The property is spacious and the kids loved swinging on the ropes. There are plenty of different seating areas, and the atmosphere gives you that wonderful “deserted island” feeling. There are activities like SUP boards available, and we took a fun ATV tour to nearby waterfalls. It’s the kind of place where you truly get that Palawan fee…
