Terrible customer service. And the front desk manager (older lady) talks to guests/customers as if she’s interrogating her own staff. At the restaurant too—when we came in for breakfast, the staff barely spoke. But when my brother-in-law, who is a foreigner, arrived, they suddenly became very active. The staff here clearly lack proper training or re-training.

The staff were great and the building I And rooms are Lovely. The pool is also nice but the g Food was horrible and very poor quality. Gravy poured all over everything in large quantities and the steak was the worst steak I've ever been serviced in any country.
I enjoyed my stay at Gateway Hotel Surigao City, the Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is good and the included breakfast awesome, good variety and they will make you eggs any style. The pool is great to cool off and the location excellent. Overall good hotel to stay at 🙂
