Northland Resort Hotel

Our stay at the resort was overall good. We booked a Junior Villa, but we didn’t know it was quite far from the pool area, so it was a bit inconvenient for us. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We also appreciated that they allowed us to transfer to a better room with a pool view at no extra cost when we requested it. Chlorine was added while the pool was still open and guests were present, without notice. Our safety concern was met with an unprofessional response. We hope management can review this incident and improve guest safety and staff conduct.

First of all, I'm used to Filipino standards, and I get them. But the information on Booking.com is so off that I am disappointed with the way they treated my complaint at the front desk. Stayed with my family recently. Enjoyed the experience. Large comfortable room with balcony, 2 air cons, fridge, TV. Pool was ok. Kids loved it. Had chicken inasal in the evening via the outdoor barbecue. It was excellent food and a good price. Breakfast for 5 also as part of the price. Great value for money.

No internet or tv. Staff was helpful but gave me no reason to come back. There should have been some compensation like a free breakfast.

They upgraded our room from Junior room to Family room without extra charges. Airconditioning need extra maintenance it builds ice in radiator.. Pool is clean. Free breakfast is limited selection. I was uncomfortable with the pool. The water was cloudy and the pool walls were slimy/slippery, a result of poor chemical imbalance over a long time that has allowed bacteria and algae to form. I had a quick taste of the water and tasted very low chlorine levels.
