1 star for services because they degraded overtime. We have chose Marriane Suites for our accom every time we’re at CDO since 2016 but this time, front desk services is so disappointing. Gave us a non functional key card which took time to be given to us by the way because it needed to be activated, yet when we keyed in, it didn’t went through. Bad experience, place looks moldy, bathroom have no bidet, no rugs, water smelled like rust. Place got cockroaches. Wifi too slow

booked online(10/26/25), Payment succeeded(P2900). They cancel because the room I booked was affected by their renovation. Up until now didn't received my refund(11/05/25) Been sending emails, no one is replaying. Booked less than an hour, refunding took weeks. About to raise this concern legally

The hotel's facilities are clearly in need of an update, with visible signs of wear and tear throughout the property. The most concerning issue was the water quality. The water coming out of the taps was rusty. The condition of the bathroom, particularly the CR, was subpar and showed signs of deterioration. Given these issues, I would caution others to think twice before booking a stay here.

The place is decent, but it could use some maintenance. The room was fine for sleeping, but the bathroom needs improvement. The water is yellowish, likely due to rust, and there’s no bidet or even a dipper available.

Rooms are cramped. Food is good compared to other hotels in davao. Very attentive staff
