Our stay at Madayaw in Tagum was exceptionally good. We had originally booked three nights but extended our stay for an additional night for my family of five in two rooms. I loved the place and the staff were accommodating but their serving time is so painfully slow as we waited for 1hr and 30 mins just to get the meals ordered. The elegant place does not compensate for how late their kitchen serves out food. I think that guests should be able to dine with reasonable waiting time and comfort.

This review is for the restaurant, we didn’t stay in the hotel. Above expectations, I hope they will maintain this level of standard. Starters where brought first and the main courses were all served at the same time and hot, this is not something we see every where in Tagum. I had a great night staying at Madayaw Hotel. The staffs were very accommodating, the place is classic and elegant especially the Tala Bistro. The room itself is so cozy and comfortable beds. Will definitely come back soon!

WARNING – Avoid This Hotel Do not book this hotel. The rooms have a terrible sewage-like smell. It is extremely unpleasant and makes staying there very uncomfortable. A very Classy and Elegant hotel right at the heart of Tagum! The lobby is big with high ceilings. Staffs were hospitable and friendly.
