Rooms are a bit narrow for the price, bit of water leaks coming from the 2nd floor room, shower barn door has noticeable molds likely from shower moisture. Access to the beach saves lots of walk time. The hostel features a bar and resto tucked away from the crowded spots within the area where only a few seats are provided and the free breakfast served (we tried tapa, tocino, longganisa) is tasty.
If you prioritize location and affordability over fancy decor, this is your spot! Laud Lounge’s rooms are no-nonsense but clean, and having a private shower/toilet made a huge difference. Plus, being able to stumble back from the beach or nearby bars in minutes? Priceless. The B1T1 drinks were the cherry on top!
When we arrived, there was no parking space available so we were forced to go to a very far pay parking station who charges 50/hr and a 500 peso overnight fee. We loved the beachfront location and the friendly, attentive staff. We absolutely lived the spectacular outlook of the lounge/bar to the beachfront and the food was great!
