We had a great night’s sleep and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast with a fantastic view. However, we did face some issues during check-in. We booked a room for four people, but they gave us a room with just one large bed. When we pointed out that this wouldn’t fit us all, the only solution they offered was to bring in two extra mattresses for the others to sleep on. It’s too pricey for what you get. I went into the room and it smelled bad. Smelled dust and when I saw the desk, it was really. Bed didnt look clean. Bathroom as well. Aircon was not working. So I had to transfer to another hotel and got a refund.
As you enter the hallway on the 4th floor, you are met with a strong, unpleasant odor resembling dried fish.
The hotel doesn’t look like much from the outside. But the rooms are very well-appointed and clean! Plus their breakfasts are served on their rooftop restaurant which has amazing views of the city and the sea. Gorgeous hotel! We would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Catbalogan!
A great hotel suitable for a fussy foreigner like me in Catbalogan. A clean modern well appointed room, with a great shower. Professional staff. For improvement, please offer card payment and I look forward to the restaurant reopening.
There's a deck view. The staff are also well-trained in accomodating customers. Ang lamig sa loob (for me). Hahaha Meals were well-served too esp the Spinach Fettuccine (I love this!). May kumakanta live din sa gabi. Anys, we were contented during our dinner time. A good place to recommend especially if there are special occasion that you would love to celebrate with your family and friends.
