We chose JCV Room because of its excellent proximity to Lipata Port after a long, exhausting drive from Luzon to Mindanao. The price is very competitive, and the location is ideal if you need to be near the ferry. However, the room itself was disappointing. We needed a place to stay since we got stranded due to the typhoon. This place is very accommodating and helpful. Kuya helped us get a transportation during the wee hours of the night for us to make it to our boat trip schedule

It was good for a layover! I asked for a cheap room for one person which had no window and the smell is accordingly bad. That's why I asked friendly for a room with a window for the same price because they haven't been fully booked and they gave it to me! Very nice! The mattress was soft and comfortable I had a good rest :) Wifi wasn't working. The view is really beautiful!

This place is close to Lipata port. Pretty decent for one-night waiting to cross with the ferry. This place has no parking area: you'll have to park on the side of the highway outside their property. Front desk took my ID for deposit, but after 1hour I went to the front desk and found my ID just lying on the table with no one around. Lucky nobody took it. We were glad to be accommodated at such short notice and for a short stay. The rent included complimentary water, coffee, and toiletries. The room also had a water heater and the bathroom had a bidet.

Only stayed here because we got stranded, no ferry trips going to Siargao and other cheaper places are full because of the same situation. They’re always open, just ring the doorbell and someone will come out. The lady who assisted us was nice and offered a cheaper rate because when we arrived there was no electricity and no water supply. The price was 800. The owner was asking me to pay $200 for early check in even though I was the only guest in the hotel & I just travel 2 days on the bus from Manila. Water came in thru the window during a storm. Went down to the owner’s room to request for another room. Requested granted but when the power went out the owner was no where to found & black out for 5 hours in the dark without A/C.

No car park. You just park beside the road. We came 3am and just rang the doorbell. Luckily, the staff came out. Truck and motorcycle noises will wake you up. P1200 for a very small room with 2 small beds
