For a budget hotel, place is ok, location is great, near the port, many restaurants around the hotel, clean rooms though looks used, and a small bathroom. Do not expect more for the price you are paying. The room is clean enough and the staff were friendly. The good thing is location, next to the port if you need the ferries. With some car parking. Tv wasn’t working even when someone look at it, toilet flush needed attention. Nowhere to put your things but on the floor. Little space. Bedside shelve/table was barely hanging on the wall. We requested a bath mat and the receptionist told us that there is no available bath mat and to use a tissue instead. 😏 So we asked for 3 tissues to be delivered and thankfully they have provided us an old towel to use. No water dispenser also. But the location is very good.
Best place to stay if you need to catch a boat but first decided to spend the night in Ormoc. The hallway is just too narrow for me, the wifi too isn’t as strong as I expected. But yeah it is nearby restaurants and cafes.
