We booked the hotel for three nights with a group of 11 people and had a truly unforgettable time in GenSan and at the hotel at a very reasonable price. The manager, Miss Fritzshyll, helped us with all our questions and accompanied our group on our excursions. Family room size is quite big, but there's a lot of mosquitos even after a request to clean-up. We never got our deposit back due to lost receipt although they have a copy secured. Be careful not to misplaced tiny towels, you'll get charged. Bad service.
Our stay was largely enjoyable, thanks to the super accommodating staff and thoughtful touches like pre-ordered breakfast upon check-in, as well as the good quality mattresses and beddings. However, the comfort room was a bit cramped. On the plus side, the pool was a highlight, offering a great way to unwind. One suggestion for improvement: adding a chain lock or deadbolt to the rooms for enhanced security.
A jewel to have found. A nice place to stay in the middle of Gen San. Cheap, clean with helpful staff who are polite and courteous. Breakfast is well presented it is an extra at 150 but worth having. The pool is great, a good size and safe for kids. Should I visit Gen San again it's got my vote.
