Terrible owner. They make me feel uncomfortable and will not offer refund. I Feel unsafe when they ask to hold your key. No safety for your belongings, and the owner is unconcerned or respect my rights to feel safe while unattended room. Wrong. Valuables unsafe. I wanted to leave my belongings and go to the mall and the owner would ask to hold your key and sneak in your room ans steal your valuables.

We left went to dinner at Robinsons came back and my wife was given the room number on 3rd floor. They tried charging us for family room but gave us single small room. They had generator for power out but only ran it occasionally. Theres no emergency lighting and cant see a thing with no oppening windows. It was only place available and they gouged us for money from 1000 pesos to 1,500. I dont recommend it from the treatment we got and it was Christmas
El Ranilo's Microtel/Hotel El ranilo. The area is clean and nice. It is located close to Robinsons mall and is also a walking distance to New Bus Terminal in tacloban.
