HOTEL DEL NORTE

I love this hotel. My first time to visit Laoag City in 1997, I stayed in this hotel. For many times my choice was this simple, near to all my needs. If ever I visit Laoag today, sure I will check this first.

Excellent cheap place for Backpackers and budget travellers. Old style basic hotel, but everything is working, and NO bedbugs as somebody said. Friendly staff. Better and bigger room than expected. Attached bathroom with cold shower. Desk in the room. Clean bedding, towel, soap and toilet paper. Excellent WiFi. Very close to bus stations.

Stayed here many times before and never had issues—until now. I woke up covered in bed bug bites all over my legs. Itchy, red, and uncomfortable the entire day. Really disappointed since this hotel used to be reliable. If you're staying soon, double-check the mattress and bring insect spray or avoid until they get pest control.

Here in Laoag for work. So terrible! Not well maintained and the staff are not considerate. They will keep on calling you regarding the paymet as if we will leave without paying
