Booked for a night before flying out from DC. Easily accessbile, located at the back of a 24/7 Mcdo in JP Laurel and just across the road ia the Jollibee. The room itself was fine, but I noticed a few stains on the towel and some of the linens, and the bed was quite hard, making it a bit uncomfortable to sleep on overall and the location is great — several well-known fast food chains are just within walking distance, which makes it very convenient. Hop Inn is a budget hotel chain. However, Davao isn't cheap. They quote prices that look like they offer discounts, but when you arrive and check in, you'll find out you aren't eligible. On top of that, you have to pay VAT separately. Then, the price won't differ much from hotels that include breakfast and a swimming pool. Make sure to compare prices with nearby hotels before choosing this place.

The staff is super super nice! Only issue I have is that the walls seem really thin, I could hear almost everything going on in the hallway including the elevator beeping. But the water dispenser is a nice touch and the nearby stores are really helpful, super nice stay for my few days in Davao

As someone who works online, I specifically chose this hotel because it advertised having WiFi.
