Hometown Hotel Bacolod - Lacson

Booking is non refundable. When we arrrived, We did not even try to enter the lounge/lobby. The front looks haunted and abandoned. Seems the other review are accurate.

- the surrounding is so loud, you can’t sleep - the room is a bit dirty, and no toiletries - the ac is not functioning - you can hear the staff talking outside your room - there’s a bar/mini bar that’s banging with music til 5 am -the only good thing is that it’s near the main road, but the alley is sus

The main good thing is the spacious room and high ceilings and there's a kitchenette with a water tap basin. The double twin beds are long and comfortable and air conditioning is good too but the water pressure is bad. There are few eateries here with a i-mart across the main road, Lacson Street.

Convenient and comfortable stay with easy access to key areas. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

DO NOT BOOK IN THIS HOTEL!!! Pictures on booking sites are deceiving! Rooms are moldy, ceilings are full of black spots due to mold and lack of ventilation in all rooms, very rusty water supply, no bathroom water heater. The whole property needs renovations and maintenance. Even cobwebs are visible almost everywhere.
