Harbor Lights Hotel

I like the place because it’s calm and very suitable for retreats and other group activities. However, the room accommodations need attention. The rooms could use some upgrading and more thorough cleaning. The air-conditioning unit was quite loud, which made it hard to sleep, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The bathroom also needs improvement, as some areas weren’t clean and a few faucets weren’t working.

Our flight at Laguindingan Airport was canceled, so we stayed here for a night. The hotel does not have an elevator, which can be challenging if you have heavy luggage. Our room had five beds, making it feel a bit cramped. The TV wasn't working, and although the bathroom was fairly spacious, it lacked a bidet, and the water pressure was quite low. Been there for a meeting but I loved the very main thing I noticed during our stay. Harbor Lights gave those old employees or pioneer employees a job at their hotel even if they are already of old or senior years. They give everyone an opportunity to make a living.

I liked the place since it may be almost three decades old, it's been maintained. You can see some aging parts of the room like the floors, tiles, doors and some cabinets. But some are newly painted. We stayed there for a night because of our family clan reunion held in the hotel's function hall. The hotel serves breakfasts, lunch and dinner but we only tried the breakfast meal and it was pricey and the taste was just okay. Tried their classic burger which did nothing to our palates.
