Glamping Alona, Panglao Island

Our room AC was so loud that it woke us up every now and again. Great price, great attention and service, great food. The way to get there from the beach or the airport is very bumpy and not all the way paved but close. The cleanliness of the place is not the best. The pool was very dirty on the first day and my room had a very strong smell when I first got there. Our stay was extremely disappointing. The actual condition of the place is far from the photos posted on various websites. The property is worn out and dirty, and the overall upkeep is very poor. We booked directly with the property and were charged almost twice the rate advertised online — and breakfast wasn’t even included. Glamping Alona offered a unique and cozy outdoor experience. The tents were comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay fun and memorable.

Arrived early evening. Checked in to find that there was no way of securing my accommodation, nor to secure my belongings. It was visibly damp and smelt it. The only electrical input was a extension lead that a fan was plugged into. As a solo traveller I decided not to stay and booked elsewhere. If it was made clear that there was no lock or no where to secure belongings I never would of booked

Did not fix main light on the room we stayed we where only using very dim yellow bulb lights, No free breakfast on Friday, Weekends & Holidays! WIFI is very slow!
