I’m an Italian chef living in Australia and this was my first stay at Gem Crystal Water Resort. The owners and their family were exceptionally polite and welcoming, and the property was very clean — a detail I want to emphasize because some other resorts on Talikud Island were far less well kept. Like almost all resorts on Talikud Island, the bathrooms use a bucket rather than a running shower; that’s normal here an…

The staff are very accommodating, which made the stay more pleasant. There’s no cellular service in the area, but they do have a piso net WiFi, which is great if you’re planning a social media detox. Since the place is quite remote, the power supply isn’t stable—they rely on solar panels and a generator, which is usually turned on when the sun is about to set. The comfort rooms are separate from the accommodation bu…

Our office has been to many resorts, but this is the first time I've experienced such expensive rates that don't match the services we encountered. The service we received was terrible—there was very low water pressure, the electricity even went out, and if our colleague hadn’t complained, they wouldn’t have fixed the generator. They just said the TV has been broken since last week, but knowing they would have guest…

It was my first time visiting Talikod Island, and it was the worst experience. The island is far, and getting there wasn’t easy. Once we arrived, there was no internet connection. Although they have a piso Wi-Fi option, it was unavailable. The staff didn’t even inform us that there was a nearby piso Wi-Fi at La Isla Bonita Resort, which is right next to the area. The worst part was that the power went out at 7pm. It…

If only I can rate 0, that's what I'll give you since that's what your resort deserves. Aside from a very expensive accommodation, your resort have a lot of hidden charges. It's actually fine if it's expensive, but you should give us the service that is appropriate to the prices you've given to us. Your business is about accommodation, but your service is not very accommodating. The moment we arrive, all we want to…

Remote location. Electricity on and off. No running water for washing, showers (cold only), toilet flushing, etc... unless requested and only when staff available. Generally in dire need of repair and maintenance throughout. Shared bathroom, toilet and shower for all rooms. Generator noise is constant. Pay for use Internet only. Staff does best they can with what's available. Way too overpriced for what you get.

not recommended. most of 5 star comments here are affiliated with the company. dont be deceived. no wifi, not crystal clear shoreline, no shower as advertised. overpriced items in the menu. karaoke's tv is broken. they reasoned that its functional a week before our stay. so they did not bother to check it a day before. we asked for discount because of the poor service and malfunctioned 3 generators, they just said t…

So far the staff are so accommodating, the food taste is fantastic, a little bit pricy but it suites on my budget, so if you can’t afford food just stay home and watch porns, rooms are clean and good, rest rooms are clean, its not really as perfect as we expect, I understood the happenings for no electricity, the management or the owner has its generator and solar pannel to meet what their customers needs, I just do…
