We had a private room - this was a nice size and included beach towels which was a nice touch. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Hair dryers are available at reception for a P500 deposit. Shower had a good water pressure. The bathroom didn’t really air though so by the end of our stay (5 nights), the bathroom was smelling a bit damp and mouldy. I had a great stay at Frendz Hostel! The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating throughout my visit. They even surprised me with a free birthday cake, which made my stay extra special and memorable. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service truly went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a fun and comfortable place to stay.
Frendz hostel is great for socializing. The activities are pretty fun but it might depend on your personal preference (Karaoke, Bingo, Parlor Games). I had such a great time at Frendz Hostel. It’s an incredibly social place where you truly make new friends, even if you’re a bit older and a solo traveler like me. I met 5 other backpackers that left this hostel early. Modern dorms and nice staff but very mad monkey style (which is great if you love that kind of thing!). The other guests in my room were drunk and rude, There are 100 beds in this hostel and loud music on all day from 9am, but does turn off at 11pm, and no where to get away from it. The bar/ reception downstairs and the rooftop area is very busy and no relaxing…
Me and my friend booked a private room and we had been very satisfied! The location is absolutely perfect, 1 minute far from the main road, 1 minute far from the free shuttle to Liu beach, always surrounded by tricycles in case you need to go somewhere else, 5 minutes driving from Corong-Corong where most of the tours depart, amazing pool on the terrace, great vibes, lots of activities! Our stay at Frendz Hotel was wonderful and comfortable. The place has a cozy atmosphere that made us feel relaxed and at home throughout our stay. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist whenever needed. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting El Nido and would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Palawan.
