Great stay at CLN Hotel in Tacloban. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient. Good value for the price — would definitely stay here again.
Homey and clean hotel near the highway. Their cafe serves good breakfast (not included in the room rate). The coffee is great and served with cute designs. The staff is also kind. Request for rooms that are not facing the highway because these have posts in the middle of the room and can be noisy from the vehicles passing the street at night, especially if you are a light sleeper.

This place is breaking the law. Filipino law dictates that hotels must give seniors a 20% discount on published rates and no VAT. I was trying to donate a vacation to a poor Filipino family with two grandparents and their two grandchildren. The hotel refused to abide by the law and give me the senior rate. the very first hotel we've looked at before crossing San Juanico Bridge, now under strict restriction for heavy loaded cargo trucks from passing. This hotel has a very unique design and concept among many hotels we've stayed at, Can't say anything negative about it, just adoration.
This is a very nice hotel, but don't stay here if you want to rest. They have dogs caged up right outside the back of the guest rooms that are constantly barking even in the middle of the night.
I was surprised a nice place. I've got some health issues and require aircon 24/7, especially during the current heat wave.
