My friend and I stayed at Cheese Hostel Manila, and honestly, the experience wasn’t the best. The room had a really bad smell, but I think it was mainly because of some of the other guests who seemed like they were staying there long-term, almost like tenants. The toilet on our floor was also broken, so we had to use the toilet on a different floor, which was inconvenient. But the beds are comfy and we slept well. J…

The hostel staff are super friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything you need. The location is very convenient, close to the airport, with supermarkets, laundromats, and other essentials nearby. The cleanliness is excellent, which really makes a difference. Free bottled water is provided, and there’s an on-site restaurant, which is great if you don’t feel like going out to eat. The Wi-Fi works we…

Clean and super cool hostel with a great atmosphere. There’s a restaurant/common area where it’s easy to relax and meet other travelers. The tables are spaced perfectly—you can enjoy your own space, but if you make eye contact with someone, the setup naturally encourages groups to come together and socialize. The staff is incredibly accommodating, friendly, and well-trained. If you arrive before check-in, you can ev…

This is my third time staying at Cheese Hostel Manila, and it’s always my go-to place whenever I travel to Manila. My first stay was a bit challenging since I didn’t bring any essentials like a towel, soap, shampoo, or wet wipes — but even then, everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly accommodating and always ready to help; whenever I needed something, they assisted me right away. Their ca…

Perfect for a night or two if you are stopping off in Manila. Theres a nice bar with food thats really affordable as well as a social area with games and space to chill. The rooms are very spacious, but there wasnt a bed light or windows so if the main light isnt on its totally dark! There also wasn’t curtains around the top bunks which I would have preferred personally.

Super cool hostel. There’s a restaurant/common area to chill and meet people. The tables are perfectly spread out so you can have space for yourself or if you make eye contact with others the tables are set up for groups to come together. The staff is very accommodating. If you arrive too early go take a nap on the bean bag. The staff is friendly and well trained. There’s signs as you walk in on the right for recomm…

Location is near center of Makati. Price is good. Most of the staff are okay but this guy is awful in dealing with customers. This one is grumpy almost complaining, raises his voice, rude, and refused give payment receipt. 4th floor toilet is always clogged.

Cheese was amazing! The staff was so helpful and fun particularly this guy named Miles. He's knows everything and can recommend anything about the Philippines. Rooms were very clean and safe and its very close to the airport.
