Travelled to Port Barton from El Nido on very last second notice that friends were going to be there. All of the town was booked up and I reached out to Castaway to find that they also were full. We felt like home, the place is clean & and well taken care of, nice garden and chill atmosphere. The owner helped us with everything - scooter rental, bus transport, laundry, food recommendations & cool places to hang out. Recommend it from the bottom of my heart! Thank you ❤️
Location is very good. walkable to everything including beach. No wifi. But it's okay. The room is a little hot. walk-in at the time I booked is 1500 per night. In agoda it was 700 pesos so they matched agoda's price when I walk-in.
We stayed 14 days in castaways huts. It was great. Mike, Arlene and ball are great hosts. Mike helped us to coordinate the island hopping and the van. He also recommend us great places to eat and view the sunset. We have great chats while we shared a coffee. We will came back for sure! Thanks!!!!!
we found the Castaway native huts on google. he Owners, Mike and Tina are super nice. we had a super great time and it was a great place to stay, very cheap, a few meters from the beach. Breakfast is also available. We got great insider tips for excursions that were booked directly through the accommodation, as well as tips for dinner. You can also sit on the veranda and have a great time. I would give 10 stars, unf…
The Best place to stay in Port Barton ! Authenticity, great location, very clean and very safe, a touch of art in every rooms, the garden in beautiful, all hand made by the owner Who is so helpful and makes everything for your stay to be unforgetable...Free coffee & water, no wifi but who cares ? You are here to disconnect and connect with the poeple and the place ! I will be back for sure thank you so much :)
I stayed one night. Walk in price is 1500 pesos at the time and it’s only 700 pesos in Agoda. They matched the price so I paid directly to them but they didn’t give me the room that is advertised in Agoda for that price. In Agoda it’s an aircon room but they gave me a fan room. Paper thin too so don’t make too much noise. Your neighbor will be annoyed lol
