CASA-Pinatubo Base Camp

Amazing home stay with a great family. The room was very warm making it a little difficult to sleep but for the price in the area, it was great! You can upgrade for an aircon room but for double the price as a backpacker, it’s not feasible. Recommended for anyone wanting to hike MT. Pinatubo!! They’re so helpful and extremely attentive

Staff were friendly and owner was accommodating to our late checked in and delayed checked out despite of the All Soul’s Day holiday in the area! Room was adequate for what we need. The price was reasonable. Breakfast was okay. One egg and one hotdog. Lunch is not included so need to order ahead if planning to eat after the long trek. Overall for one night stay before the Mt Pinatubo hiking and trekking is worth it!

Amazing hospitality. Our hosts Allan and his wife were so accommodating during our stay. We arrived for a late check in before a hike to Mt Pinatubo the following morning. Right as we were about to depart for Capas, Allan proactively messaged me on Whatsapp to give directions on how to get there as the New Clark City exit isn't open yet (as of Mar 2023). Drove up in the morning, so didn’t stay in any of the rooms but we organised the Mt. Pinatubo tour with them. Very easy to book and the person we booked with was very nice and accomodating. We were also still allowed to park at the place which was very nice. The tour guide was also super friendly and we managed to be one of the first up the mountain. Overall such a great experience, highly recommend
