Carlosta Hotel

Fairly nice place. Many comfy pillows. Restroom has a lite peculiar smell but tolerable, keep exhaust running. Water is too SOFT, it feels just like oil. Soap feeling will never come off.

The hotel is well-located. I stayed in a decent double room pre-booked by an organisation. They charged me for a lost key card (though in the beginning, staff members told me it would not be an issue), while waiving that fine for a different person. When I complaint about such a different treatment, staff promised in writing to get back to me later. They never did.

They claim to be the first butler service hotel in Ormoc, but sadly, our experience did not reflect what a true butler service should be. Upon entering through the glass doors, there was no staff available to assist us. Some staff seemed ready to welcome us, but we struggled to get inside because of our heavy luggage and the doors, which made our arrival feel a bit discouraging. During my first night, I discovered the hand soap bottle was empty and the shower head holder was broken. On the second day, they failed to restock the tissue paper, and there was no teaspoon for my coffee; when my cousin requested one, the staff amusingly provided tablespoons and forks instead 😂.
