Busuanga Backpackers is such a cozy little place surrounded by nature. It really feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle. Sam, who only recently started taking care of the place, is an amazing host. He helped me with everything I needed, answered all my questions, and genuinely made me feel very welcome and cared for. He showed me different places to visit, organized a scooter for me, and even cooked for my ne…

Busuanga Backpackers is a simple, peaceful spot in nature. It had quietened down after Covid, but Sam the manager is now working hard to bring it back to life. The place is still rustic and a work in progress, so don’t expect anything fancy. But my room, the toilet, and the kitchen were clean and tidy, which is what matters. Sam really cares about his guests and makes sure everyone is comfortable and having a good t…
Out of everywhere I stayed in the Philippines this was my favorite place. This felt like home. The camp host and workers were so helpful and nice. The food was fresh and amazing. We had a cozy private room where you could hear the crickets. We rented motorbikes from here and went to Black Island and we were walking distance to Pirate Divers where we dove famous WWII ship wrecks. I didn’t want to leave this place! It…
We didn’t stay here but we rent the kayak. 100 peso per person per hour. Fairly cheap and friendly staff. Good hostel for them whose seeking for calm and zen place, not party place. Better to have a bike or any transportation if you want to stay here. Bike ride for 10 mins to the nearest town
Perfect location! Nice and cool under the trees if you want to be out of the sun. The kitchen looks cosy and the people there are really helpful and kind. Especially Michiko, she helped us with everything: our scooter, our trips, the food (really delicious btw), our next hostel, every question we could ask her. Even when she was free. Would definitely recommend this hostel to friends and family!
