Bethel Guest House may appeal to travelers who prioritize a very affordable price and a central location, but beyond that, the experience fell short for us. While I understand many guests enjoy the water-facing rooms, our room unfortunately faced another room’s window, which meant we kept our curtains closed the entire time—resulting in little natural light. The room itself was very outdated and cramped, especially…

Best value for a hotel right on The Boulevard. Fantastic location. Not fancy, but clean and well-managed. Every time we come here, we gladly pay extra for a room facing the ocean.

Bethel is my go-to whenever I'm in Dumaguete. The location along Rizal Boulevard is hard to beat, with the baywalk just steps away and easy access to Silliman University and the rest of the city. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and if you can snag one on the upper floors facing the sea, the view is absolutely worth it. Best hotel in Dumaguete primarily due to its location. Our room was facing the boulevard and it was very spacious, having 2 bathrooms and a sala. The staff took care of all our needs and guided us enthusiastically on which spots to visit. The restaurant at the ground floor is also a good spot for breakfast and snacks with a view. This is the only hotel you should book when you’re visiting Dumaguete!

My wife and I spent 5 days at the Bethel Guest House in January. The service was friendly and quite exceptional with a special mention to Francis the hotel manager and Ramil from the hospitality team (well done)! The rooms are very clean and the location is perfectly located along the waterfront promenade with easy access to restaurants and the ferry terminal. Bethel is a great value for the price! The all day dinin…

We also texted on the day of our reservation that we will be checking in late because we are still about to depart from the port. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was no room reserved for us. The only reason we want to book this hotel is because they ha…
