The reception and restaurant staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. The room was well proportioned. The bathroom was dated and could do with renovation. Easy access to Batangas City by trike or taxi ( use the local Joyride app rather than grab).
The resort is beautiful and the service is excellent the staff really go above and beyond. However, some parts of the room (like the electrical outlets and AC units) feel a bit dated and could use an upgrade. The pool area is great as well! Overall, a solid choice for the price, just a little more modernization would make it perfect. 💯
The surroundings and the pool are lovely. The accommodation is outdated as if it was the 1980's and is in need of a refurbishment. The breakfast choices are very limited and didn't suit my dietary requirements nor would it suit a vegetarian or vegan diet, the location is extremely far away from the city and beaches so you require taxis everywhere you go. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly
From 2024 to 2026, I had the pleasure of staying at Batangas Country Club a total of six times for several weeks at a time. There are definitely great things about it, but some need a lot of improvement . Positives: The facilities are amazing ; you really feel like you are at a resort and not in the middle of the city. Not as advertised; needs better upkeep I was disappointed to find there was no buffet breakfast, despite what earlier reviews claimed. The room comfort was also an issue—the AC struggled to cool the room, and there was a noticeable, unpleasant odor coming from the shower curtain. Hopefully, management can address these maintenance and cleanliness issues.
