Balayong Pension

We stayed here for 6 days. Staff is friendly, Room is okay, well ventilated except for the bathroom were some smell can eventually stack up and low water pressure for the shower head. Big wardrobe cabinet with plenty of space I would not recommend the room 1 up to 5 for light sleeper as it is right in front of the main road and can be very noisy even at night (lack of soundproofing) No streaming services for the TV…

Very good hotel, clean, spacious with very good location and very good service. Special mention for Resrain who helped me a lot directly when i arrived because i had lost my backpack in a van. Thank you again ! The best receptionist !

Overall two stars. Cons: sheets were synthetic silk which trapped heat, air-conditioner was quite loud and weak, bathroom was also small and could have used some thorough cleaning, rooms were also very conducive to sound so we were woken up early/kept up late by other guests, nothing to lock valuables in. We had a really pleasant stay at this place. It is accessible to a lot of restaurants and cafes. It’s also near the Baywalk. The staffs are nice and helpful. I really appreciated that they allowed us to leave our luggages during our tour and when we came back, our bags are already in our room, super convenient. This was a lovely hotel for our short trip to Palawan. We stayed in Puerto Princess and the location was fabulous! Close to the airport and close to the baywalk which meant we could walk down and explore the food stalls and have a wander. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also a nice addition to the stay, with options like eggs or french toast. The room was very noisy throughout the night, between the nearby busy road and the AC unit it was quite difficult to sleep (although the pension does offer free earplugs). Spent a week's time with friends here. The room we booked is clean with all facilities workable and in a good condition. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help, which has made our trip go quite smoothly. The location is ideal for a stroll along the bay, especially in the morning. One should give it a try if thinking about visiting Puerto Princesa. Overall, the stay was very much enjoyable.
