Baden Powell Hostel

The rooms are spacious. The staff are helpful and accommodating. They have free water, coffee, and bread. The location is unbeatable. They're along session road and beside the bus station. Definitely a top choice for budget travelers since they offer economy and shared rooms. They also have standard rooms. I was surprised they're on soft opening because I didn't notice it. Will definitely come back.

The location was convenient and the room was decent. However, I had to request toiletries from the front desk because none were provided upon check-in. The curtains and bathroom rug were also noticeably dirty. The biggest issue was the water supply—we had to wait more than an hour before we could take a bath, which was very inconvenient.

We booked a standard room (my wife and I) for practically almost a week (6D/5N) over phone towards end of January to early February, touching the opening dates of Panagbenga 2026. The stay was a simple, no-frills, and yet we received a warm and cozy experience because of the staff who knows all of us by names, including our dogs. This is a good place to stay if you are a backpacker because the rate is super affordable. For 2 nights, I only paid P1,200 via Agoda (Wednesday and Thursday). A few minutes walk from Joybus terminal and also near a lot of local eateries with budget meals ranging from 80 to 100 pesos and SM Baguio if you want more choices and buy your own groceries.
