If only there's 0 star! I paid 2800 through agoda for a Superior twin bed and it was worse than the most cheapest inn anywhere else! Air-conditioning sucks! Not getting cold even you waited for hours! Wifi sucks! No tissue no trash can liners! Staff were not concerned at all! Would not recommend!
We were so tired been on the road for 24 hours because of the ferry in Matnog. Stop in this hotel, looks nice on the photos. When we come in the door a cockroach was running away. Very disappointed with our stay. Room 306 had a very strong mold smell the moment we walked in, with visible water stains on the walls and mold growing behind the mirror. Roaches. Hot and smelly. Reception area was musty and smelled bad. Dog poop was left at the entrance and never cleaned. Bathroom was filled with roaches Disappointed because of how expensive this hotel is.
I stayed overnight in room 205. There was a major leak in the bathroom sink. There was water seeping to the floor after some time. No hot water for the shower too even if i asked a priori if there is and they said yes, there is hot water
Checked in at 8 pm, Front Desk is approachable she was easy to talk to, The only problem is that at Room 302 the Water Heater isn't working although they tried to fix it but to no avail... Still I like the Cold Aircon and they have a parking space as well as a refrigerator, if you plan on staying in Catbalogan a little longer you might want a good room for the money it's worth.
